Job Description

Reporting to a Service Delivery Team Lead, the primary focus of the Airport Trolley team will be to ensure the collection and distribution of baggage trolleys around campus.

Team Members will embrace the role as ‘the face of Dublin Airport’ conveying a professional, helpful, friendly attitude and service to all Dublin Airport users. Team Members collect and distribute trolleys as required on a roster basis and will operate across the terminal and campus wide. Tasks are allocated based on demand, and team members will be required to be agile and move from areas/ tasks, as directed by on shift supervision. Supporting the wider operation will at times be necessary in order to carry out any changes in the plan that arise during the shift.

These roles are shift based roles and will provide 24/7 coverage throughout the airport.

  • Provide a visible and proactive presence to enhance passenger experience at Dublin Airport across all passengers facing functions
  • Manage the movement of trolleys on the campus
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts across a 24/7 roster
  • Support Dublin Airport’s goal of being a litter free airport by litter picking your location of work to maintain the highest levels of satisfaction for our passengers and stakeholders.
  • Replenishing trolley bays within areas
  • Ensure emergency response procedures are implemented
  • Ensure compliance with H&S procedures
  • Strong customer orientation & ability to make customer centric decisions.
  • Deal with lost property left on campus
  • Respond to ad-hoc requests. All daa staff may be asked to carry out duties outside of their normal daily duties. This will be on request basis and only if the staff member is adequately trained to do so.
