
The School of Education, Teaching & Health in the College of Arts and Sciences at American University invites applications for a term faculty appointment for Spring 2015. Rank will be dependent on experience and stature in the field. The appointment is a 5-month term position and will commence on January 5, 2015.
Applicants should hold a PhD or other terminal degree. Highly qualified applicants with a master’s degree related to ESL or Bilingual Education will be considered. The position will require the incumbent to teach three courses per semester in ESL or Bilingual Education, including, but not limited to, Methods of ESL or Bilingual Education, English Language Teaching and International and Comparative Education. All faculty are expected to hold office hours and participate in School and University activities and service.
