Job Description

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive profitable revenue growth in the assigned territory through distributors by implementing company sales strategies.
  • Prepare Distributor Business Plans, set distributor-wise and sector-wise sales targets, and review performance regularly.
  • Collaborate with marketing for field activations and special interventions to improve market share.
  • Train and develop Mahindra MSRs, DSRs, and distributor sales personnel to build a competent sales team.
  • Execute organizational initiatives with excellence and ensure compliance with norms and processes.
  • Expand territory coverage by mapping markets, identifying gaps, and recommending new distributor appointments.
  • Conduct field visits to retailers and mechanics to promote Mahindra Genuine Spares, oils, and other products.
  • Organize promotional activities such as campaigns, meets, and storming drives to boost secondary sales.
  • Identify and onboard Exclusive Retail Stores for Mahindra Genuine Spares, improve footfalls, and monitor performance.
  • Review contract sales teams on mechanic engagement, loyalty programs, training, and market development.
  • Resolve distributor issues promptly and maintain strong relationships.
  • Work closely with Zonal Spares Manager, Area Office, Spares team, and CFA/Warehouse to achieve territory goals.

MBA; Bachelor of Engineering

General Experience

  • 8 to 12 years of experience
  • Strong background in channel sales and distribution management
  • Experience in spare parts sales (automotive industry preferred)
  • Exposure to B2C initiatives
