Job Description

The Marketing Unit at Harvard Business School invites applications for a faculty position beginning in July 2027. We welcome applications from both candidates who expect to complete their doctoral degree by the start date and candidates currently serving as assistant or associate professors. We seek individuals who are intellectually curious about managerially relevant problems, have rigorous training in marketing or a related discipline (e.g., economics, psychology, social sciences, or computer science), and are excited to teach marketing courses.

The 12-month base salary associated with these positions is $315,000. Exact compensation may be dependent on particular experience/expertise.

Qualifications

Applicants for tenure track position should have a doctorate or terminal degree in marketing or a related field by the time the appointment begins, and strong demonstrated potential and interest to conduct research at the forefront of marketing management.
