
The Department of Comprehensive Dentistry at Texas A&M University College of Dentistry invites applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty position or academic professional track (non-tenure) faculty position position with an 11-month appointment beginning January 2026. Applicants will be considered for the faculty titles of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, Clinical Professor, depending on qualification and commensurate with credentials. We seek an educator and clinician with clinical excellence in Operative/Restorative Dentistry, including a strong background in advanced operative/restorative dentistry, cariology, biomaterials, digital dentistry, minimally invasive dentistry to contribute to the predoctoral (DDS) programs. Tenure-Track Faculty Expectations
The College of Dentistry expectations for holding a tenure-track position include effective undergraduate and/or graduate classroom and/or clinical teaching; mentoring and supervision of undergraduate and/or graduate students, residents and postdoctoral trainees, with involvement in the recruitment and mentoring of residents in our specialty programs and/or doctoral students and guiding them through to graduation in a timely manner; active involvement in scholarship with sustained extramural funding and demonstrated evidence of independent research through external funding; publication of peer-reviewed research articles that demonstrate impact; and providing service to the College, Texas A&M University and the professional community.
