The Department of Biology at the American University of Beirut (AUB) invites applications for one tenure-track assistant professor position in the area of bioinformatics/computational biology, to begin in August 2026
The Department offers BS and MS degrees in Biology and a PhD degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology. Candidates with teaching experience in bioinformatics, population genetics/evolutionary theory, and interdisciplinary non-experimental research programs are especially encouraged to apply.
Review of applications will begin on December 15, 2025, and will continue until the position is filled.
Competitive applicants will have postdoctoral experience, an independent research program, and strong research and teaching qualifications.
