The School of Social Work at The University of Texas at Austin invites applications for a tenure-track position in disabilities for appointment in August of 2026 Appointment will be made at the rank of assistant professor. Applicants must demonstrate a clear potential for, or an established record of excellence in, funded research, scholarship, and teaching, and must meet the University’s requirements for appointment.

Candidates should hold the Ph.D. (or equivalent) in social work, or in a closely related discipline A master’s degree in social work is preferredWe seek applicants with research expertise in developmental andoracquireddisabilities across the lifespan with an emphasis on transition age and adulthood; and/or disability policy
Successful candidates are expected to teach across our undergraduate andgraduateprograms, develop and implement a funded program of research, and maintain a strong record of high-impact publications.
