Tennis Coach (Part-Time)

Responsible for leading the operations of the tennis department by providing tennis lessons, and coaching to guests.
Responsible for greeting all guests and assisting them with requests or services. Responsible for checking appointments, renting equipment, selling of retail, hosting tournament and events, running kids camps, organizing clinics and programs, maintaining the courts, keeping the tennis facility clean and safe, maintaining proper email contact to locals and guests and helping out in the tennis attendants to ensure an efficient operation
Ideal candidate must have:
Provide group and private tennis instruction to children and adults. Schedule individual and group tennis lessons and clinics. Make tennis court reservations by writing in guest name on schedule. Arrange tennis matches for guests without partners. Fill in as a tennis player in tournaments when necessary. Roll, brush, and line tennis courts to maintain proper playing conditions and appearance. String tennis racquets, make minor repairs, and send racquets out for repair as necessary to maintain tennis equipment in proper working order. Provide information to guests about available recreation facilities, activities, lessons, and equipment. Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests in all recreational activities and areas by expressing an upbeat and enthusiastic attitude.
Follow company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests’ service needs; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Reach, bend, twist, pull, and stoop; grasp, turn, and manipulate objects; move, lift, or carry objects weighing less than or equal to 35 pounds; stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Related Work Experience: At least 3 years of related work experience.
Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
License or Certification: Tennis Instruction
Tennis Court Maintenance
Tennis Equipment
Tennis Racquet Repair
CPR Certification
First Aid Certification
Any certification or training required by local and state agencies.
