Travis Pointe Country Club, located in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and managed by Bobby Jones Links, is hiring for a Tennis Attendant. Built in 1977, Travis Pointe is one of the state’s elite private clubs, featuring four season amenities, including indoor and outdoor pools, 4 indoor courts and outdoor large tennis complex, aquatics facility, indoor golf simulators, and a fitness center.

Travis Pointe has hosted the LPGA Volvik Championship, as well as numerous tournaments throughout the years, including the EPSON Tour, the Michigan Amateur Championship, the Women’s Western Amateur, the Women’s Michigan Open, US Mid-Amateur qualifying, and numerous US Open and US Senior Open qualifiers.

Responsibilities of the Tennis Attendant at Travis Pointe Country Club include:

• Greeting members and guests and answering questions.
• Managing court reservations and check-ins.
• Answering phones and handling emails or messages.
• Coordinating tennis lessons, clinics, tournaments, and events.
• Checking court availability and keeping schedules organized.
• Providing tennis equipment such as racquets, balls, and accessories.
• Maintaining the tennis desk, lobby, and surrounding areas.
• Processing payments, guest fees, and merchandise sales.
• Communicating court conditions, maintenance closures, and club policies.
• Assisting tennis professionals and management with daily operations.
• Providing friendly, professional customer service to members.
• Helping resolve scheduling or member-service issues.

Qualifications: Required Skills

• Basic computer skills, including email and scheduling software
• Ability to manage court reservations, schedules, and member requests accurately

• Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Basic knowledge of tennis, court etiquette, and tennis terminology preferred
• Previous country club, tennis facility, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred
• Ability to handle payments and point-of-sale transactions, if applicable

• Walk and or stand for long periods of time, sit, bend, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and to lift overhead and push/pull, move lighter objects.
