Join Sulzer’s Flow Equipment division and play a key role in delivering competitive and technically robust solutions for large-scale infrastructure and energy projects. Working closely with Sales, Engineering, Project Management, and our global manufacturing network, you will lead the preparation of complex tenders, develop technical solutions, assess project risks, and support customers throughout the bidding process. Main responsibilities:
Prepare high-quality technical and commercial tenders for infrastructure and energy projects, ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, and on-time delivery.
Review customer specifications and analyze technical requirements to develop optimal pumping solutions.
Collaborate with specialist departments and manufacturing sites to define and configure pumps, accessories, and related systems.
Evaluate technical and commercial project risks and develop mitigation strategies during the bidding phase.
Support customers and sales teams with technical consultations, specifications, and proposal presentations.
Manage supplier and subcontractor enquiries, evaluate quotations, and lead technical discussions when required.
Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders throughout the tender preparation process to ensure a competitive and compliant offer.
Participate in customer negotiations and ensure a smooth handover from tendering to project execution teams after contract award.
Maintain accurate data and documentation within sales and tendering systems.
What you need to succeed:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Minimum 5 years of experience in tendering, sales engineering, project management, pump engineering, or a related field.
Strong technical knowledge of pumps, rotating equipment, and associated systems.
Experience in complex technical tenders and commercial proposal preparation.
Knowledge of desalination and water transport applications will be considered a strong advantage.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across international and multidisciplinary teams.
Strong commercial awareness combined with a customer-focused mindset.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and solve complex technical challenges.
Fluent English.
Availability to travel within Spain and internationally when required
