Job Impact

As a Tender Writer, you will play a pivotal role in the Pursuit Management team at Certis Security Australia, contributing to the development of high-quality, strategically aligned tender responses across key market sectors. You will shape messaging frameworks, oversee the end-to-end process of submissions, and coordinate projects involving multiple departments. Your expertise in written communication, organisation, and stakeholder management will help Certis deliver safer, smarter, and more efficient outcomes for our clients and communities.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Tender Development:

  • Write, review, and edit high-quality content for tenders ranging from $1M to $15M+ in annual contract value.
  • Shape messaging frameworks in collaboration with the GM Pursuit Management and sales leads.
  • Participate in capture planning sessions to align bid strategy with customer needs and Certis' value proposition.
  • Maintain consistency of voice, structure, and brand messaging across all written bid content.
  • Proactively challenge and refine inputs from stakeholders to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with strategic positioning.

Bid Coordination:

  • Monitor inboxes and online portals for bid opportunities.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely deliverables.
  • Assist with cataloguing content for the bid library and other administrative tasks.
  • Assist with building marketing collateral, including CVs, case studies, and presentations.
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders including GMs, executives, and operational SMEs to source and refine content.

Content Management and Improvement:

  • Use Loopio and SharePoint to manage, update, and maintain the bid content library.
  • Contribute to continual improvement of writing templates, style guides, and collateral.
  • Support post-submission activities such as debriefs and lessons learned sessions

Qualifications

Mandatory:

  • Tertiary qualification related to business or writing discipline (e.g., Literature, Communications, Journalism).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in SharePoint and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing capabilities.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Confident writer who enjoys crafting persuasive content from a blank page.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, logically, and concisely.
  • Organisational skills to manage multifaceted projects and deadlines.
  • Consultative approach, seeking input from stakeholders and researching business functions.
  • AI-literate, able to use LLM models effectively.
  • Attention to detail, producing accurate and compliant content.
