Tender Specialist, Global Projects & Industry Solutions, Air & Sea

The primary purpose of this position is to be responsible for managing the end-to-end tendering process, preparing competitive and commercially viable pricing proposals, and ensuring timely submission of accurate bids and quotations

Responsibilities

1. Manage end-to-end tendering processes, including RFQs (Requests for Quotation), RFPs (Requests for Proposal) and bid submissions.
2. Identify, review, and evaluate tender opportunities, RFQs, and RFPs.
3. Coordinate the preparation, compilation, and submission of tender documents within specified deadlines.
4. Review tender requirements, technical specifications, commercial terms, and contractual conditions.
5. Ensure tender submissions comply with customer requirements and applicable company policies.
6. Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to develop competitive and sustainable tender solutions.
7. Review tender requirements, specifications and commercial terms to ensure compliance.
8. Prepare competitive quotations, cost estimates, and pricing proposals.
9. Analyze costs, margins, and profitability to ensure commercially viable pricing.
10. Coordinate with stakeholders to gather required information and approvals.
11. Liaise with customers and suppliers regarding pricing, clarifications and tender requirements.
12. Maintain accurate tender records, pricing databases and submission documentation.
13. Monitor tender outcomes, analyze win/loss performance, and identify opportunities to improve pricing and profitability.
14. Ensure timely submissions, pricing accuracy, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
15. Identify opportunities to improve tender turnaround time, pricing accuracy, and bid quality.
16. Ensure compliance with internal approval processes and relevant regulations.
17. Perform other related duties, responsibilities, and projects assigned by the Manager or Supervisor to support business requirements and operational objectives.

Qualifications & Characteristics

Education – Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Work Experience – 2-5 years experience in a similar role

Specific Skills –

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with ERP, CRM, or tender management systems is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.

• Ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
