WELCOMING YOU TO THE TEAM
We are looking for a Tender Manager to join our team on a temporary basis for approximately 12 months. The position is expected to start in [month/year].You will join the Sales & Tender team based in Oslo, Norway. This dynamic and collaborative team includes experts from various disciplines who work together to deliver high-impact tender projects. As Senior Tender Manager, you will report to Head of Tendering and lead multifunctional teams across Legal, Procurement, Engineering, Installation, and Finance. The role is based in our Oslo office, with opportunities for cross-functional collaboration across our global organization.

HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT
As Senior Tender Manager, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and submission of competitive bids for large and complex EPCI projects. Your role will include:

  • Developing tender strategies in collaboration with the Sales Manager and core team
  • Coordinating cross-functional teams of 15–20 experts
  • Defining and implementing robust project execution plans and commercial strategies
  • Leading internal review processes and ensuring alignment with Nexans’ standards
  • Supporting commercial and contractual negotiations with clients
  • Ensuring a smooth transition from tender to project execution
  • You boost your impact by actively promoting Quality and HSE throughout every stage of the tender process.

YOUR STARTING POINT
We know that the best candidates don’t always match every requirement, but here are some key qualifications that will help you thrive in this role:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in tendering, sales, or project management
  • A B.S. degree (technical background preferred)
  • Strong commercial mindset and negotiation skills
  • Experience managing large, complex projects and cross-functional teams
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, cultural awareness, and a collaborative mindset
