Job Title: Tender & Contract Specialist Oil & Gas

Location: UAE

We are seeking an experienced Tender & Contract Specialist to manage the preparation, submission, and administration of tenders and contracts related to drilling services and operations in the Oil & Gas industry The role requires extensive experience in drilling operations, contract negotiation, and procurement planning. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with contractual terms, risk management, and effective coordination between internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Tender Management:

• Lead and coordinate the preparation, submission, and evaluation of drilling tenders in compliance with client and regulatory requirements.
• Work with engineering, operations, and finance teams to gather cost estimates and technical inputs for bid submissions.
• Identify and mitigate tendering risks, ensuring competitive and compliant proposals.
• Prepare detailed bid packages, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.

Contract Management:

• Oversee the full contract lifecycle, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating terms and conditions.
• Ensure all contracts meet legal, commercial, and operational requirements
• Monitor contract execution, ensuring compliance with timelines, budgets, and performance standards.
• Manage amendments, variations, and dispute resolution.
• Ensure compliance with UAE laws, industry regulations, and safety standards

Risk & Compliance Management:

• Identify, assess, and mitigate legal, financial, and operational risks in tendering and contracting processes.
• Advise management on contractual and commercial risk mitigation strategies

Stakeholder & Financial Management:

• Act as the key liaison between internal teams, clients, and contractors
• Assist in cost estimation, financial tracking, and invoicing for contracts.
• Ensure financial control of contracts, tracking variations and claims to stay within budget.

Candidate Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in the E&P industry as a Tender Coordinator and Contract Administrator.
• Experience as a Drilling Engineer and Contract Administrator, with extensive knowledge of the drilling industry.
• Minimum 3 years of Oil & Gas experience specifically in drilling operations
• Strong understanding of procurement regulations, industry standards, and drilling-related contracts
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
