Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your industrial cost management and maintenance expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dynamic and collaborative teammates.
You'll play a critical role in ensuring competitive and sustainable industrial solutions for our Maintenance Performance Centre (MPC) network. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (industrial development, sourcing, tooling management, and bid management), lead CAPEX planning and lifecycle investment strategies, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of industrial cost estimation and depot infrastructure planning, but also drive cost optimization initiatives to enhance profitability and efficiency.
We’ll look to you for:
Supporting tender activities by developing competitive industrial strategies and cost-effective maintenance solutions
Identifying, evaluating, and managing CAPEX requirements for depot infrastructure, equipment, and tooling
Leading make-or-buy analyses to optimize project costs and improve industrial performance
Ensuring effective implementation and execution of industrial CAPEX throughout project operations
Driving cost optimization and localization initiatives to enhance competitiveness
Supporting the development of optimized depot footprints, facility sizing, and resource planning
Providing agile and innovative support to commercial, bid, and tender teams
Managing teams responsible for equipment, tooling, jigs, and fixtures
Delivering industrial Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) objectives aligned with project goals
All about you

Degree in Engineering or a Diploma in a related field
Approximately 20 years (graduate) or 25 years (diploma) of maintenance or industrial experience
Minimum 7 years of experience in rolling stock maintenance, depot equipment, and industrialization
Knowledge of industrial cost estimation, CAPEX planning, and lifecycle cost modeling
Experience in depot equipment commissioning and maintenance
Familiarity with SAP, AFMS, GSI, and Alstom maintenance systems
Strong understanding of railway maintenance operations and depot infrastructure
Leadership and team management skills
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
