The opportunity
Our local product group Insulation & Components is a global technology leader in the design and manufacture of high-voltage transformer bushings. Renowned international companies across the electrical industry—including power generation, transmission, and distribution—trust our solutions. We hold a leading worldwide position in high-voltage bushing technology.
To strengthen our operations, we are looking for a Tender and Quotation Specialist to join out team at our MICAFIL bushing factory in Switzerland.
In this role, you will be part of an international team focusing on translating customer needs and challenges into competitive bids and quotations. You'll work closely with our sales and other internal teams to ensure that we offer the best solutions to meet our customers' needs around the globe.

How you'll make an impact
Analyze Request for Quotations (RFQs), and other tender documents to understand client requirements, scope of work, and technical specifications with alignment with the Sales team
Collaborate with sales, engineering, legal, and other internal departments to gather necessary information, technical details, and cost estimates for tender submissions
Develop comprehensive and well-structured tender and quotation documents, including technical proposals, drawings, commercial offers and supporting documentation
Ensure all submissions are accurate, complete, and meet the specified deadlines and submission protocols
May participate in pre-bid meetings, client clarifications, and negotiations as required
Maintain a systematic record of all tender activities, submissions, and outcomes, for quotations and order checklists preparation and handover
Continuously improve tender processes and documentation templates to enhance efficiency and quality
Coordinate with internal stakeholders for optimal solutions. Proactively maintain clear and structured communication with customers and the internal teams throughout the tendering process
Your background
Technical or commercial education background. Bachelor's/Master’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
Minimum of 3 years of experience in tender management, quotation preparation and price calculation, or bid coordination, internal sales support, or project management within an industrial or technical environment
Proven experience in formulating accurate bids and quotations
Strong understanding of tender processes, contractual terms, and commercial aspects
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with tender management software or CRM systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to details and solution-driven approach
Fluency in English is required; proficiency in German and other languages is a plus
