Cloud & Smart Industries Group (CSIG) is responsible for promoting the company's cloud and industry Internet strategy. CSIG explores the interactions between users and industries to create innovative solutions for smart industries via technological advancements such as cloud, AI, and network security. While driving the digitalization of retail, medical, education, transportation and other industries, CSIG helps companies serve users in smarter ways, building a new ecosystem of intelligent industries that connect users and businesses.

What the Role Entails

As a Senior Solution Architect at Tencent Cloud in Seoul, South Korea, you will play a critical role in designing and delivering tailored cloud solutions for clients across various industries. Your expertise in cloud computing and system architecture will enable you to address complex business challenges and industry-specific needs. Acting as a key liaison between customers and our backend team, you will ensure clear communication, efficient project execution, and client satisfaction. Additionally, you will represent Tencent Cloud in South Korea's dynamic technology ecosystem, participating in industry events to enhance our brand presence and influence.

Responsibilities

• 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, solutions engineering, or related technical roles
• 3+ years of experience in customer-facing roles, working directly with enterprise customers
• Solid understanding of infrastructure, including networking, systems, and distributed architecture
• Proven experience working on cloud-based projects (e.g., design, deployment, or operations)
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP, or equivalent)
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders

Who We Look For

• A well-defined domain expertise or industry focus (e.g., large-scale enterprise environments, retail, financial services, etc.)
• Experience or familiarity with AI technologies and related applications (e.g., LLMs, RAG systems, data pipelines, AI Generated Contents)
• Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives in ambiguous environments, taking ownership beyond defined roles and driving cross-functional collaboration
• Ability to influence stakeholders without authority, aligning engineering, product, and business teams toward outcomes
• Experience supporting large-scale cloud migration, modernization, or platform transformation initiatives
• Business-level proficiency in English or Chinese, with the ability to engage and influence global stakeholders
