About the Role
We have 1 post available to use pro-active and interventionist casework to promote good lawful behaviour within the private rented sector, and support landlords and tenants with both new and existing regulations. We will be continuing to pursue prosecutions for illegal eviction, as well as addressing new offences brought in by the Renters Rights Act, representing one of the most significant changes in the private rented sector for decades, with the Council picking up new responsibilities in the policing of new offences.
Please note that the needs of the service are such that the post is primarily office based.

About You
Candidates will be able to provide advice, promote rights and responsibilities wherever possible, using their sound knowledge of relevant law in the sector.
Covering a wide range of subject areas, you’ll help make sure that a diverse client group gets fair and legal treatment in the sector.
