Job Description

The Web and Mobile Quality Assurance Analyst supports the quality assurance of web and mobile digital experiences, ensuring that all deliverables meet defined standards, accessibility requirements, and client expectations. You will test web-based and native mobile applications, contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, and partner closely with project teams to deliver high-quality, low-risk releases.

This is a temporary, fully remote position aligned to Eastern Standard Time (EST).

PAY RATE

$45.00 - $50.00 per hour

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Execute QA testing on single-stream and small multi-stream web-based projects, with support on large, complex multi-stream initiatives.

  • Assist the Head of QA on large-scale web and mobile projects, contributing to planning and execution activities.

  • Provide internal consultation on industry standards, QA methodologies, accessibility guidelines, and web best practices.

  • Apply mastery of internal QA standards and client-specific web and mobile guidelines.

  • Develop and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test data.

  • Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing of web-based applications.

  • Validate web deliverables against defined QA standards and client requirements.

  • Test native mobile applications for iOS and Android, in addition to responsive web applications.

  • Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing across modern browsers, operating systems, and mobile devices.

  • Perform end-to-end email and bulk campaign testing across multiple email clients and browsers.

  • Track, document, and report defects clearly and accurately using established defect management tools.

  • Collaborate with development, product, and project teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.

  • Analyze QA results and metrics to support continuous improvement of QA processes.

  • Own the QA process on assigned projects, proactively identifying risk and ensuring high-quality outcomes.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.

  • 2+ years of experience testing websites and/or browser-based software.

  • Experience testing native iOS and Android mobile applications.

  • Strong understanding of test case design, defect tracking, and QA reporting.

  • Hands-on experience with cross-browser and cross-device testing.

  • Familiarity with modern browsers and comfort working in both PC and Mac environments.

  • Experience with QA and testing tools such as Jira, LambdaTest, Postman, or similar platforms.

  • Experience with web-based workflow and issue tracking systems (e.g., Jira).

  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and compliance requirements (e.g., WAI, Section 508).

  • Familiarity with responsive design and emerging web and mobile technologies.

  • Experience with bulk email campaign tools and end-to-end email testing (e.g., MailChimp preferred).

  • Working knowledge of HTML and common web debugging/testing tools (e.g., Firebug, Charles, or similar).

  • Exposure to mobile devices, tablets, and multiple iOS/Android versions.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.

  • Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills.

  • Proactive, patient, and diplomatic approach to quality assurance.

  • Passion for software QA, information technology, and evolving digital technologies.
