Worcester Polytechnic Institute - WPIThe WPI Facilities Department is hiring temporary summer custodial staff to support cleaning and maintenance efforts across campus.
Schedule: Saturdays and Sundays, 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Start Date: Saturday, May 30, 2026 until Sunday, August 16, 2026
Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming hallways, stairs, offices, bathrooms, and other campus areas
Emptying trash and recycling containers
Moving and relocating furniture, small equipment, and personal belongings
Assisting with the setup and breakdown of indoor and outdoor events
Requirements:
A valid work permit is required for applicants aged 14 to 17
