Minimum Job Requirements

• Must possess or show evidence of being able to attain a valid Indiana teaching license with appropriate special education endorsement K-5, all licensing areas considered. Multiple licensing areas preferred.
• Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work effectively with students, parents, administrators and other staff.
• Must possess strong organizational skills and demonstrate ability to work effectively with students in a productive, enthusiastic and motivating atmosphere.
• Must demonstrate a thorough understanding of Special Education laws and procedures.
• Must demonstrate ability to develop and implement appropriate and effective IEPs for all levels of students.
