Help bring one of House Beautiful's signature editorial experiences to life. As the Temporary Project Coordinator, you'll play a critical role in keeping the 2026 Whole Home Project moving forward—connecting teams, managing details, and ensuring every milestone is met from planning through execution.

About Hearst Magazines (Why Us?)

Hearst Magazines is one of the world's largest lifestyle publishers, with a portfolio of more than 30 brands that inspire, inform, and entertain audiences across print, digital, social, video, and emerging platforms. From iconic publications to innovative experiences, our teams create best-in-class content and marketing programs that connect with millions of consumers every day.

Key Responsibilities (What You Are Doing)

Serve as the primary liaison between the Charleston builder/developer and House Beautiful's editorial and marketing teams based in New York.
Own and maintain the master project plan, timelines, and supporting documentation to keep cross-functional teams aligned and on schedule.
Track sponsor products, materials, and project assets throughout the lifecycle of the Whole Home project.
Coordinate weekly project meetings, document key decisions, and drive follow-up on action items.
Organize and maintain project resources, including sponsor information, floor plans, meeting notes, and other critical documents in shared Google Drive folders.
Communicate proactively with builders, designers, contractors, photographers, videographers, content creators, and internal stakeholders to ensure productions and shoots run smoothly.
Support on-site project needs, including conducting site visits and assisting with venue scouting when needed.
Capture detailed production notes, track editorial moments and sponsor integrations, and document room-by-room product details to support editorial, marketing, and content teams.

Qualifications (What We're Looking For)

2+ years of experience in project coordination, project management, editorial operations, event production, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative, proactive approach to stakeholder management.
Experience coordinating cross-functional projects involving multiple internal and external partners.
Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate project documentation and tracking systems.
Comfortable working with tools such as Google Workspace, including Google Docs, Sheets, Drive, and Slides.
Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a positive, solutions-oriented mindset.
Experience working with creative, editorial, production, design, construction, or events teams is a plus.
This is a fully remote temporary position.

The hourly rate for this role is $25.00 per hour. This position is not eligible for bonus or commission compensation. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
