Job Description

We pride ourselves on fostering an environment where we make a positive impact on others; upholding our beliefs in integrity, inclusion and belonging.Our Wayland, NY, Gunlocke facility is hiring Temporary Members to support final production and operational needs as the facility transitions toward closure. These short‑term roles include a variety of general labor assignments ranging from entry‑level production support to more experienced machine operation and multi‑process manufacturing tasks.ResponsibilitiesTemporary members will assist with day‑to‑day manufacturing activities such as operating equipment and machinery, production support and assembly, handling materials, performing quality checks, and maintaining a safe, organized work environment during the facility’s wind‑down period. Ideal candidates learn quickly, adapt to changing priorities, and help ensure smooth, efficient operations through the final stages of production. Candidates must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs and perform physical work for up to 10-hour shifts.
End of Assignment Bonus

Potential to earn up to an extra $100 per week, paid out at the end of your assignment, by meeting weekly productivity and quality targets while maintaining good standings and attendance. (Less applicable taxes)

Qualifications
Entry-Level Roles:

  • No prior manufacturing experience required; safety and equipment training provided.
  • Strong work ethic, dependability, and willingness to follow safety instructions.

Experienced Roles:

  • Experience operating manufacturing machinery or multi-process production.
  • Forklift certification or material handling experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet quality, performance, and safety standards.

Candidates will be hired as a temporary employee through our third-party partner for the duration of the assignment.
