
The Temporary Portfolio and Review Assistant provides logistical, clerical, and communications support to Admissions Office staff throughout the application and portfolio review season. Reporting to the Admissions Recruitment and Review Coordinator, the Assistant’s primary duties include logging digital and physical portfolio and audition materials in Slate, communicating with applicants about receipt of those materials, and supporting zoom and in person reviews.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage digital portfolio submissions in Slate.
Assist in facilitating reviews of applicant portfolios by sharing applicant materials via video
conference, providing applicant information to reviewers, and transcribing comments and
feedback.
Respond to email inquiries from students related to submission of application and portfolio
materials.
Re-package and return portfolios to applicants.
Answer telephones, alphabetical filing, data entry and photocopying.
REQUIREMENTS:
Excellent organizational skills and ability to be detail-oriented
Ability to take and follow directions
Ability to work with a broad range of personalities
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
Ability to troubleshoot basic audio/visual equipment
Computer experience (Mac) with knowledge of data entry and strong typing skills
Experience with Slate (or other CRM) and Microsoft Excel desired
High school graduate or high school proficiency
This is a temporary, full-time position. Anticipated length of the work assignment will be January 3
through March 11.
