The Port of Portland is hiring a Temporary Parking Enforcement Agent (32 hours/week)!
The nation’s top airport is seeking an individual to help ensure the safe and efficient movement of traffic across terminal roadways and crosswalks while providing an enthusiastic, customer-focused experience at the airport.
As a Temporary Parking Enforcement Agent, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of the terminal roadways. You will interact with people from all over the world and all walks of life, assisting customers and enforcing the rules and regulations of the roadways. This is a fast-paced and dynamic environment where your work directly supports the safe and orderly flow of traffic for travelers, employees, and visitors at PDX.
Parking Enforcement Agents play an important role in the safety, mobility, and customer experience at Portland International Airport. Your work helps keep terminal roadways and crosswalks safe and accessible while providing a welcoming experience for the millions of people who travel through PDX each year. This is a temporary position (up to six months) with at least 32 hours scheduled per week. Additional hours and overtime may be available. This position is represented by a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
Work schedules will vary and may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Most schedules include 4 days of work followed by 3 consecutive days off, giving you a regular three-day block to recharge, reset, and make time for the things that matter to you. Shifts include day, swing, and night schedules. Schedules are established through a seniority-based shift bidding process and are generally consistent once assigned.
This is an active, primarily outdoor position requiring extended periods on your feet. Work takes place along the mostly covered PDX terminal roadway and in short-term and long-term parking structures, with exposure to varying weather conditions. Uniforms are provided
