GENERAL SUMMARY

This is a temporary position supporting the plant’s biennial refueling outage.

Assist with all aspects of health services; competency, processes, customer service, and quality improvement as they relate to outage.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Perform operational medical activities of occupational health services:
  • Administer and monitor the medical examination program for employees, including the performance and analysis of medical tests and procedures.
  • Assure compliance with regulatory requirements related to clinical operations.
  • Responsible for securing and developing all records, equipment, and programs related to occupational health services.
  • Provide the required physical evaluation programs and services to meet regulatory requirement; such as NRC, OSHA, NIOSH, WAC, CDC, DOT, etc.

Responsible for assuring the appropriate access and utilization of healthcare services:

  • Evaluate and treat all injuries and illnesses in an efficient and professional manner within the scope of practice and consistent with clinical nursing guidelines.
  • Occasionally provide emergent medical care in the field.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

An Associate’s degree in Nursing (ADN) or a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in nursing with an active state license to practice as a licensed practical nurse or registered nurse in Washington State.

Must obtain and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) training.

Pay Range

$83,125.00 - $103,906.00 Annual

The salary listed represents the pay range for this position. Starting pay is calculated from the minimum of the salary range and actual individual placement within the range is determined based on the candidate's experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the role. The level and final offer will also take into account the candidate's overall qualifications.

Incentive Compensation

This position is eligible for an annual at-risk compensation (ARC) incentive plan. Incentives are earned based on agency performance against defined metrics and goals which follow eligibility rules within the ARC plan document.
