JOB TITLE:
Temporary OutboundTransportationCoordinator
As aTransportationCoordinator, you areresponsible forbut not limited to handling the day-to-day execution of the transportation department.A coordinator works with internal (DC, Home Office, Store Operations,andField Leadership)and external (carriers, 3PLs) partners tomonitorshipments and expedite the efficient movement ofTJX merchandise.Creatinga timelyflow into our stores while working tomaintaintheoptimalperformance valueEnsuringtimelyservice ofdeliveries, whileupholdingoperational standardsSupporting and escalating any high-level challenges to their Transportation Supervisor/Manager.
Major Areas of Responsibility
Support execution ofoutbound trailer movement (crossdockandstore deliveries),ensuringaccurateshipping plans and schedules, including transportation optimization,andreturnlogistics
Consistently deliver operational performance against established KPIs andfollow up with carriers on exceptionExecute plans to follow up on performance
Monitor trailers in-transit and escalate late arrivals
Execute againstPeak Seasonplans/strategies tosupport the challenging needs of the business
Support Transportation ManagerSupervisorin yard staffing, scheduling, and usageas well asinsupporting the building withallinboundand outboundtransportation responsibilities
Interact with Field Leadership, StoreOperations, LossPrevention,andTransportation providers to ensure overall execution ofTJXservice/standards
Plan and communicate the truck capacity requirements and ensure an adequate supply of truck power and trailers
Ensure outbound movementsare executedin a timely mannerto hit on-time delivery metrics
Partner with Shipping teams to ensure proper loading and damage practices are followed
Provides guidance and/or training to other peer Transportation Coordinators when applicable
Auditsand updateYard Management System for carrier/trailer accuracy
Build in-depth working knowledge of the Transportation Management Systems so that you can design, test, and implement new configuration and parameters that drive efficiencies
Gather andmaintainTJX Transportation and LogisticsStore Delivery and Cross Dockmasterdata
Support outbound transportation projects and initiatives as assigned or directed
Create and follow Standard Operating Process (SOP) guides for Outbound activities
Support other TJX functions/partners as applicable
Provide direction for miscellaneous outbound shipments,ie RTVs, Misroutes, Fed Ex, etc.

Responsible for store delivery movement of up to $55millionannuallyintransportation spend Servicing 50 to 170 storesand/or crossdocksdepending on size of DC.

Pay Range: 17.30-23.35-29.40
