Employment Opportunity :Temporary Human Resources Support - Immigration

Department: Human Resources

Employment Status: Fulltime (40hour work week) for a 6 month term

Salary: CI$25.00 per hour

Work Environment: Corporate

Corporate – Workspace is primarily in the Administrative Building

In Field – Workspace is primarily Off Site at various locations around the island

Plant Area- Workspace is primarily in the Power Plant Area

Hybrid – Workspace is a combination of in the Administrative Building and in the Field or in the Plant Area

Satellite- Workspace is at one of CUC’s satellite locations

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Maintain and organize employee and contractor immigration records to ensure accuracy, compliance and timely renewals.

Prepare, and track work permit applications, business visitor visas and exemptions.

Liaise with hiring managers and department leads to gather contractor requirements, assignment details and supporting documentation.

Coordinate payment requests for immigration related fees

Monitor work permit expiry dates and proactively coordinate renewals to ensure continued work authorization and compliance.

Provide support to other Human Resource functions as required.

Requirements

Applicants should possess

Associates in Business or similar, with a focus on Human Resources

Experience and knowledge of local immigration law

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

High attention to detail and accuracy

Strong organization and time management skills
