Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts (PPLM) is the state’s leading provider of sexual and reproductive health care, nationally recognized for education and research. Our mission: ensure everyone in Massachusetts has access to compassionate, judgment-free care and education. We operate four health centers and offer telehealth statewide as part of a network of 600 Planned Parenthood affiliates nationwide.
We are seeking a Temporary Health Center Manager to oversee the daily operations of a busy health center. Reporting to the Director of Health Center Operations, this role is responsible for supporting staff, monitoring operational performance, managing workflows, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a positive patient and employee experience.
This is a temporary assignment onsite in our Boston health center lasting approximately one month.
Your Day to Day:
- Manage day-to-day health center operations and staff support.
- Monitor productivity, patient volume, and operational metrics.
- Supervise non-licensed team leads and support employee development.
- Partner with leadership on budgeting, staffing, quality improvement, and compliance initiatives.
- Oversee scheduling templates, inventory, facilities coordination, and cash management processes.
- Address patient concerns and support risk management activities.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, IT, Facilities, and other departments to support health center operations.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Healthcare operations experience preferred.

3–7 years of supervisory or staff management experience preferred.

Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and leadership skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Bilingual candidates (Spanish, Mandarin, Haitian Creole, Vietnamese, or Portuguese) are strongly encouraged to apply.

Willingness to travel to other sites and work occasional evenings or Saturdays.
