Little Words Project is looking for a Temporary Fulfillment Associate for our new warehouse in Mountainside, NJ. The Fulfillment Associate is responsible for ensuring accurate order picking, packaging, and preparation for shipment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, dependable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where precision and efficiency are key.

Please note, this is a temporary position from April 20 - May 8.

There are two shifts available.

Morning: 8am - 4pm

Evening: 2pm - 10pm

Training Week April 20-24: 8:30am - 4:30pm

Responsibilities:

• Accurately locate, retrieve, and verify items based on order specifications.
• Apply shipping labels and prepare packages in accordance with carrier requirements.
• Assist with inbound/outbound shipping
• Ensure timely processing and shipment of all orders.
• Conduct final inspections to confirm order completeness and accuracy before shipping.
• Promptly report any missing, incorrect, or damaged items to the supervisor.
• Assist with inventory organization and participate in regular cycle counts.
• Assist with inventory and replenishment
• Monitor stock levels and report discrepancies to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Adhere to safety protocols and proper handling procedures for all products and equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Prior experience in a warehouse, fulfillment center, or e-commerce logistics environment (a plus).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to lift and move packages as needed (up to 50 lbs).
• Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or handheld scanners (a plus).
• This is a temporary position from April 20 - May 8.
