Job Description

Seeking an individual who can support the Facilities Assistant at our San Francisco site. This person should be motivated, self-starter, well organized, has strong attention to detail, and has experience in customer service. Able to perform these tasks with minimal supervision.

TEMP Facilities Support Specialist

Monday – Friday

8:00AM – 4:30PM
Temporary (04/2026-11/2026)

Primary responsibilities:

Shipping, Receiving, and Mail (SRM) Support

  • Retrieve Apple packages delivered from couriers from the ground floor and deliver to the mail room for sorting. Pick-up out-going mail.
  • Communicate via email to the recipient regarding retrieval of packages.
  • Order and maintain shipping supplies in mail and copy rooms.
  • Must be able to lift 35 pounds.

Other responsibilities may include:

  • Replenish coffee machines with coffee beans and condiments at 4 locations within the building. Maintain attic stock and order supplies when needed.
  • Assist business units with stocking vending machines, snacks and supplies. Notify business unit administrator when supplies need to be replenished.

  • Additional duties may be assigned due to business needs.
  • Food handling certificate required.
  • Event support – rearranging space if required, communicate with the janitorial staff.

Key qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Apple products and software is required (email, Slack, Webex).
  • Extremely proactive, responsive, and positive contributor.
  • Excellent in verbal and written communications.
  • Comfortable with interfacing with customers regarding special request or concerns.

  • Experience in customer service or client-facing roles

  • Able to lift up to 35 pounds as needed

  • Familiar with Apple software tools including email, Slack, and Webex

  • Must obtain a food handling certificate

  • Proactive and reliable team player with a positive attitude
