ABOUT THE FOUNDATION
The Lucile Packard Foundation for Children's Health, in partnership with Stanford Medicine and Lucile Packard Children's Hospital, unlocks philanthropy to transform health for children and families in Northern California - and around the world. Through fundraising and grantmaking, the Foundation drives scientific research, innovation, and policy change that will improve care, advance cures, and reform healthcare systems for this and future generations.
MAIN FOCUS: Key support for the administrative and program needs of the leadership of the Major Gifts team.
LOCATION: Hybrid Position – the candidate will work an average of eight (8) days per month in our Palo Alto, CA office; the successful candidate will be based in the Bay Area.
WHAT YOU'LL DO...
In this role, you will provide high level administrative and operational support to the Vice President of Major Gifts, ensuring strong coordination across executive schedules, field team priorities, and departmental projects in a fast-paced environment. You will manage complex and frequently changing calendars, meetings, and communications while supporting day-to-day workflows and operational needs. You will also support key content and initiatives, including managing an executive portfolio of donors and maintaining team communication platforms and shared resources. Your ability to stay organized, adapt quickly, and manage multiple priorities at once will help keep the Major Gifts team aligned, responsive, and focused on advancing revenue growth and pipeline development in support of the Foundation’s mission.
This is a temporary, full-time position lasting approximately six months, from April through October 2026. The role reports to the Associate Director, Major Gifts Program.
The compensation range for this role is between $45.67-$50.48 per hour.
