Overview

The primary role of the Temporary Event Assistant is to support PCC events, held in-store and offsite, during Q4 (Oct – Dec) 2026. They provide support to the event lead, including event set up and breakdown. They will be a PCC brand ambassador during each event, providing excellent customer service and engaging dialogue with event attendees.

  • Friday, October 2 from 1 – 7PM at Ballard PCC
  • Saturday, October 3 from 10AM – 4PM at West Seattle PCC
  • Sunday, October 4 from 9AM – 3PM at Redmond PCC
  • Friday, October 9 from 1 – 7PM at Green Lake Aurora PCC
  • Saturday, October 10 from 10AM – 4PM at Burien PCC
  • Saturday, October 10 from 10AM – 4PM at Central District PCC
  • Sunday, October 11 from 8AM – 2PM at View Ridge PCC
  • Thursday, October 15 from 1 – 7PM at Kirkland PCC
  • Friday, October 16 from 1 – 7PM at Green Lake Village PCC
  • Saturday, October 17 from 12 – 6PM at Fremont PCC
  • Sunday, October 18 from 10AM – 4PM at Bellevue PCC

Main Job Responsibilities

  • Provides support to the event lead, including set-up, execution and breakdown.
  • Hosts one table during each event, acting as a PCC brand ambassador, providing excellent customer service and engaging dialogue with event attendees.
  • Works effectively as part of a team, collaborating with the event lead and PCC staff.
  • Follows safe food-handling procedures.
  • This position works consistently at a light physical work level and may be asked to work on occasion at a medium or heavy physical work level when supporting stores or other offsite events. Frequently required to sit, walk, reach, and grasp. Occasionally required to be on feet with a mix of standing and walking throughout shift.

Qualifications and Skills

Required Qualifications

  • Available to work a minimum of 5 events scheduled in October 2026
  • Available to work the scheduled event on 12/9/26 from 1-7pm
  • Demonstrated excellent, professional customer service skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Ability to meet physical requirements of standing, twisting, bending, repetitive motion and lifting up to 30 lbs. on a regular basis
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel to PCC and other locations

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of PCC Membership program
  • Previous experience working in a store retail environment
