We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Temporary Development Operations Specialist to provide critical operational support to the IEEE Foundation during an employee's medical leave. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge and a background in donor relations or stewardship. This role is essential to ensuring our gift processing, donor communications, and data integrity run smoothly during this 10-week period.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Management & Gift Entry: Promptly and accurately enter gifts, deposit checks, and reconcile donations in Raiser's Edge. Maintain the overall accuracy and integrity of the donor database.

• Donor Relations: Manage the timely processing and distribution of donor acknowledgment letters to ensure high-quality stewardship.

• Marketing & Communications Support: Run and load data lists to facilitate the distribution of e-marketing messages in accordance with our outreach calendar.

• System Operations: Load and schedule pre-developed donor automation content into the system.

• Develop queries, exports, and reports in Raiser’s Edge to support ongoing foundation operations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 2-4 years of experience in fundraising, stewardship, donor relations, or a related field.

• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency with Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge is a plus.

• Confidentiality: Must demonstrate the highest degree of professionalism and discretion when dealing with sensitive donor data and financial matters.

Soft Skills: Strict attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and fluent in business English. Must be able to handle multiple assignments simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
