This is a Temporary position limited to no more than 9-months.
The Division of General Internal Medicine (GIM) has a temporary need for support with logistics, communication, financial management, event management, project management, and marketing in support of GIM clinical programs. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional looking to learn about business operations in an academic medical center. This role will provide direct support for Division leadership, ensuring superb customer service with all stakeholders, with prompt turnaround time and clear communication.
Key Responsibilities
Calendar and logistics coordination for Division leaders
Book travel in Concur for leaders’ conferences and meetings.
Procurement and Travel Card Reconciliation for relevant transactions
Facilitate/Coordinate GIM Weekly Grand Rounds
Schedule, coordinate, and attend high-level Division meetings, providing thorough action-oriented meeting minutes
Schedule meetings among clinical team members and with others external to the division, including reserving rooms in the University Rooms & Services System (EMS).
Help design content for projects using specialty software programs outside of the usual Microsoft suite
Develop infographics, visual abstracts, and other communication marketing assets that feature Departmental accomplishments, missions, research, etc.
Process monthly newsletters and weekly announcement communications
Coordinate annual on call schedule and holiday schedule in conjunction with clinical leadership
Work Location:
Hybrid – This role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 4 days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
One (1) year of professional level experience in graphic design, financial analysis, project management, event management, and/or high-level administrative support.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Graphic design knowledge/experience.
Professional experience in a higher education environment (University of Colorado, CU Medicine), non-profit, events and/or development/fundraising environment.
Experience in healthcare environment.
Experience making travel arrangements for professional staff or constituents.
Experience managing multiple calendars.
Communication experience with external stakeholders.
Experience with EMS, Concur, CU Marketplace, and Qgenda.
Experience in EPIC (EMR) and AMION

Anticipated Pay Range:
Thehiring range for this position has been established at:
$24.00 to $32.00/ hour.
The above hiring range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.
Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck. Temporary employees are only eligible for sick leave benefits.
