Job Description

The Administrative Assistant performs various tasks to support the day-to-day functions of the office. Duties may vary to include some or all of the following job responsibilities.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate departments or personnel.
• Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls and emails.
• Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
• Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, and reports.
• Support all departments with administrative tasks as needed.
• Assist with data entry, recordkeeping, and basic bookkeeping tasks.
• Maintain and update physical and digital filing systems.
• Order and maintain office supplies and equipment inventory.
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
• Assist with ordering or coordinating business luncheons as needed.
• Ensure the office environment is clean, organized, and welcoming.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education/Experience and Required Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED required. Some College Preferred.
• Prior experience within an office setting preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Software (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Adobe.
• Knowledge working with Syspro or similar ERP software preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to integrity and confidentiality.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

• Office-based role with standard working hours.
• Must be able to frequently use hands and talk or hear.
• Must be able to occasionally stand, walk and reach with hands and arms.
• The noise level in the work environment is low to moderate.
