Our client, a leading financial services firm based in Midtown Manhattan, is seeking a Temp-to-Perm Executive Assistant to support a large, fast-paced Fixed Income team. This role will support a group of approximately 40 bankers, with direct, high-touch support to one senior banker.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned financial services Executive Assistant who has spent their career supporting front-office professionals within investment banking, capital markets, fixed income, sales & trading, or similar trading floor environments. The team is specifically seeking someone who understands the pace, urgency, and demands of a revenue-generating business and can seamlessly operate within a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.

This is not an opportunity for someone looking to step into financial services; rather, the team is seeking an individual with deep industry experience who can hit the ground running from day one with minimal training. The successful candidate will possess exceptional judgment, strong prioritization skills, and the ability to anticipate needs in an environment where priorities shift constantly and responsiveness is critical.

This position is based in-office five days per week in Midtown Manhattan and is a temp-to-perm opportunity.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide administrative support to a team of approximately 40 bankers within the Fixed Income group
  • Deliver direct, high-level support to one senior banker, including complex calendar management and prioritization
  • Manage a high volume of scheduling across internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordinate extensive domestic and international travel through Ovation, including detailed itineraries and last-minute changes
  • Process heavy expense reporting through Concur with accuracy and efficiency
  • Act as a gatekeeper for the senior banker, helping to manage competing priorities and protect time effectively
  • Anticipate needs and proactively address issues before they arise
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
  • Partner closely with other assistants and team members to ensure seamless coverage and support
  • Assist with ad hoc administrative responsibilities and team initiatives as needed

REQUIREMENTS

  • 10+ years of Executive Assistant experience within investment banking, sales & trading, capital markets, fixed income, hedge fund, asset management, or broader financial services environments
  • Prior experience supporting senior bankers, traders, portfolio managers, or front-office executives required
  • Strong preference for candidates coming directly from a trading floor or similarly fast-paced front-office environment
  • Demonstrated experience managing high-volume calendars, extensive travel arrangements, and heavy expense reporting
  • Advanced proficiency with Concur and Ovation required
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with constant competing priorities
  • Strong business judgment and ability to anticipate needs with minimal direction
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Professional, polished demeanor with strong relationship-building abilities
  • High emotional intelligence and ability to navigate different personalities and working styles
  • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to jump in wherever needed
  • Proactive, resourceful, and capable of operating with a high degree of ownership and accountability

HOURS

  • Monday through Friday
  • Fully in-office (5 days per week)

COMPENSATION

  • $85,000-$120,000 base salary
  • Temp-to-perm opportunity
  • Bonus eligible
  • Comprehensive benefits package upon conversion
