Electronics Technician III

🔧 What You’ll Do

As an Electronics Technician III, you’ll work with high-power and complex electronic equipment including RF & gradient amplifiers, high and low voltage power supplies, combiners, circulators, and sophisticated PCBs. With minimal supervision, you’ll ensure systems meet strict customer specifications and the highest safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Test, verify, and calibrate complex electronic systems to meet customer specifications.
Adjust high and low voltage power supplies to achieve required performance and safety standards.
Maintain and calibrate test stations and equipment to meet or exceed industry standards.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues down to the component level.
Identify testing and quality issues and communicate findings with the team.
Provide repair teams with accurate test data to ensure effective product repairs.
Maintain clear and organized documentation for the quality acceptance team.
Keep a clean, organized, and safe workstation while following all company safety and quality procedures.

🧠What You Bring

We’re looking for a detail-oriented technician with a solid electronics foundation and strong troubleshooting skills.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Understanding of analog and digital circuit theory, including Ohm’s Law, power formulas, filters, op-amps, and semiconductor basics.
Knowledge of electronic components and the ability to identify resistors, capacitors, diodes, and inductors by type and value.
Proven ability to troubleshoot electronic circuits to the component level.
Experience using test equipment such as:
Digital Multimeters (DMM)
Oscilloscopes
Spectrum & Network Analyzers
Signal Generators
Power Supplies
Frequency Counters
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and maintain accurate technical records.
Strong computer skills.
Technical certificate (or equivalent) plus 3+ years of related experience.
U.S. Citizenship required.

🏭 Working Environment

This is a hands-on technical role within a production and testing environment.

Ability to remain stationary for extended periods while performing detailed testing.
Move throughout the production area to conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics.
Frequent use of testing equipment and tools.
Close-range visual inspection of electronic components and assemblies.
Clear communication of technical findings and data to team members.
