TEMP TALENT ACQUISITION COORDINATOR

REPORTS TO: SR. MANAGER, TALENT ACQUISITION

STATUS: NON-EXEMPT

The Temporary Talent Acquisition Coordinator works in a fast-paced, service-oriented team environment and effectively supports the recruiting process in all areas and phases including marketing/advertising, interviewing, hiring events, and coordinating and facilitating the pre-employment and on-boarding process.
*This position is a temporary (August-December), full-time role (Monday-Friday) onsite in our Irvine, CA office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage job openings on both internal and external job search websites
  • Facilitate on-boarding and communicate relevant information to new hires
  • Reach out to local colleges, chambers, and work forces to build partnerships along with assisting in setting up career fairs and job postings
  • Update information in the Applicant Tracking System to ensure postings and reporting are accurate
  • Create, send, collect, and file offer letters in compliance with State and Federal law for field positions
  • Maintain hiring dashboard for open positions and track time-to-fill
  • Assist in the recruiting process by sorting resumes and applications for job openings
  • Initiate and keep track of background checks for promotions for field coworkers
  • Act as first tier support for any recruiting or ATS related questions and partner with the HRIS team as needed to see issues fully resolved
  • Assist Talent Acquisition Team in hiring events
  • Assist with data entry and administrative projects as assigned

  • Professionally represents the Boot Barn and Talent Acquisition brand
  • Demonstrate high level of quality work, attendance and appearance

  • Adhere to local, state and federal laws
  • Perform any other duties that may be assigned by management
  • Understand and complies with all company rules and regulations

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of administrative and customer service experience
  • Excels in building relationships with others quickly
  • Previous experience in a retail setting is preferred, but not required
  • Previous experience in a human resources or talent acquisition role is preferred, but not required
  • Intermediate level of experience with Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to think creatively outside of the box

PAY RANGE: $25.00-$26.45/hr*

*compensation varies based on geography, skills, experience, and tenure
