We are looking for a motivated assistant to support the re-census of trees in the Bukit Timah Forest Dynamics Plots, followed by specimen processing. Candidates with relevant experience may also assist with specimen identification in the herbarium and data entry/analysis.
Responsibilities:
Assist in re-census of trees in the Bukit Timah Forest Dynamics Plots
Process collected specimens
Identify specimens in the herbarium (if experienced)
Enter and analyze data (if experienced)
Requirements & Qualifications:
Minimum qualification: A-Level
Diploma or Degree preferred
Relevant experience in fieldwork or herbarium work is an advantage
Skills & Experience:
Attention to detail
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Basic data entry and analytical skills
Interest in ecology, botany, or environmental science
Duration/ working hours:
2 months contract
Work Schedule:
Monday to Thursday: 8:30 am – 6:00 pm
Friday: 8:00 am – 5:30 pm
