The Digital Project Manager will manage and execute key projects across BGCA’s growing military marketing portfolio. Working closely with the Director, Military Marketing, this role will take assigned projects from planning through execution — coordinating stakeholders, timelines, creative development, content production, approvals and final delivery.
This is a hands-on role that combines project management, marketing execution and creative production. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable managing a multi-stakeholder project, developing marketing resources, capturing and editing content, and keeping complex deliverables moving. The role will support work across military Services, installations, Youth Centers, BGCA teams and external partners. Military experience is preferred but not required. We’re looking for a strong marketer and project manager who can operate independently, build trusted relationships and quickly learn the nuances of BGCA’s military partnerships.
Military-connected young people grow up navigating experiences that can include frequent moves, deployments, new schools and life in communities around the world.
BGCA has an opportunity to tell those stories more consistently and authentically while giving military partners and local programs stronger marketing resources to reach youth and families.
As BGCA’s military marketing portfolio and partner deliverables continue to expand, this role will provide dedicated project ownership and execution capacity — helping ensure commitments are delivered on time while allowing the Director, Military Marketing to focus on strategy, partner relationships and long-term growth.
Independently manages scope, timelines, stakeholders, approvals, deliverables and competing priorities.
Translates strategy into audience-appropriate marketing materials and activations across digital, social, web, print and partner channels.
Builds productive relationships and coordinates effectively across internal teams, military partners, Youth Centers, agencies and vendors.
Can independently capture and edit high-quality visual content for social, digital and marketing use.
Recognizes authentic stories and turns them into compelling, mission-aligned content.
Communicates clearly, exercises sound judgment and knows when to make an execution decision versus elevate a strategic or partner issue.
Works effectively in fast-moving environments, anticipates needs and takes ownership of getting work across the finish line
You know how to take a project from idea to execution bringing structure to the work, keeping people aligned and making sure the details don’t get lost along the way. You’re comfortable managing multiple projects, stakeholders and deadlines, and you know when to move forward independently and when to bring others into the conversation.You also have a strong creative eye and are comfortable working across digital content, photography, video and marketing materials. You can shift between managing a project, coordinating with a partner and jumping in to help create or refine the work when needed.Familiarity with military culture or military-connected communities is a plus. More importantly, you’re curious, adaptable and able to build strong relationships in a complex partner environment.
The hourly ratee for this role is $50/hr. BGCA takes into consideration a combination of a candidate’s education, training and experience, as well as the position’s scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level.
