Job Description

Driver-Temp Position

Basic Function and Responsibility:

Responsible for the correct receiving of all products delivered and the correct storage, placement and distribution of said products. Driving Pizza, and other food and beverages, to and from locations on campus. Organizes and maintains all storage areas in a sanitary and orderly manner. Also responsible for assembly and delivery of all food and beverages.

Payrate: $27.21 per hour

Requirements

Qualifications:

High school diploma preferred, other relevant experience may substitute for education. Knowledge and experience with food service supplies and equipment is desirable.

Must be able to read and write English.

The ability to repetitively lift heavy loads consistently.

Must have good driving record and possess a valid Massachusetts driver's license./Must 21 years of age.

Must be capable of driving up to a 25-foot fixed axle truck. The ability to lift moderately heavy objects, up to 50 pounds, on an on-going basis

Must be a team player, dependable and exhibit excellent customer service skills.

This is a driving position. Individuals will be required to provide information verifying a valid driver's license, submit a DMV driving record, and comply with University guidelines regarding insurability.

Boston College Dining Services is seeking friendly and flexible individuals to work in temporary and on-call non-benefited positions. BC Dining Temps may work up to 18 hours per week, including late evenings and weekend.
