Job Description

Duties and responsibilities:

• Prepare source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information; establishing entry priorities.
• Process patient source documents by reviewing data for deficiencies; resolving discrepancies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents for resolution.
• Enter patient account data by inputting alphabetic and numeric information on keyboard according to screen format.
• Maintain data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures.
• Verify entered patient detail and account data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data; combining data from both systems when account information is incomplete; purging files to eliminate duplication of data.
• Secure information by completing data base backups.
• Maintain operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
• Contribute to efficiency by accomplishing related results as needed
• Receive and finalise claims instructions from clients and all other stakeholders, as outlined in agreed service level agreement.
  Interpret and process technical short term insurance related information.
• Capture and update all tasks into task management system
• All claims related documentation to be collated and saved in respective
  record keeping repositories.
• Maintain effective relationships with all internal and external parties on a day to day basis.
• Develop relationships with clients and ensure consistent high levels of
  service delivery.
• Client retention.

Qualifications and experience:

• Matric
• Data entry/data capture experience
• Previous experience within the supply chain and logistics industry is highly advantageous
  
• High level proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook (training on practice data capture/database system provided )
• Organization skills Strong, high efficiency
• Typing,/Data Entry Skills
• Attention to Detail
