Job Description

This role is to support the business units in operations from financial perspective and review/prepare accurate and timely financial reports for all companies (including subsidiaries and joint ventures) within their charge (both local and overseas) to get roll-up to the consolidated financial reports on time to meet regulatory requirements, as well as to facilitate management in the measurement of group performance with the strategies implemented and allow management to implement proactive measures to ensure that the profitability can continue to sustain and optimise its returns to shareholders.

Responsibilities:

• Ensures smooth monthly closing of accounts for subsidiaries and joint venture companies
• Involves in year end audit and handles all audit related matters
• Based on budget information from source departments, review budget figures and tax computations for submission to Group Reporting
• Provides accounting service to JV partners or investors
• Prepares management reports for Senior Management, joint venture partners or investors
• Oversees and provides guidance to 1 to 2 team members
• Handles day to day operation enquiries and requests from managers and external parties
• Review management accounts from overseas accounting agents
• Prepare annual company tax for filing

Requirements:

• ACCA / Degree in Accounting
• Minimum 5 years of experience in closing of accounts
• Knowledge in GST and tax provision
• Preferably with basic knowledge of property industry and knowledge of SAP
• Preferably with supervisory skills and experience
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Team player
