This position performs all standard teller functions with a high level of accuracy and efficiency while providing exceptional customer service.<br><br> </div><div>The Teller III also serves as a key leadership resource within the branch, assisting with teller training, scheduling, audits, policy updates, and complex customer needs while serving as a backup to the Branch Manager. Teller III - 10.1.26<br><br> </div><div>Key Responsibilities<br><br> </div><ul> <li>Process teller transactions accurately and efficiently.</li> <li>Cross-sell appropriate banking products and services to support customer growth and retention.</li> <li>Assist with daily teller scheduling and provide leadership support during peak periods.</li> <li>Conduct vault and cash drawer audits and help maintain regulatory compliance.</li> <li>Train and mentor new tellers and support ongoing team development.</li> <li>Assist with updates to teller manuals, policies, and procedures.</li> <li>Monitor and maintain the branch control binder.</li> <li>Assist with customer escalations and complex transactions.</li> <li>Approve overrides and assist with error resolution within assigned limits.</li> <li>Perform quality-control checks and support audit readiness.</li> <li>Support teller call-queue participation and coach team members on effective call handling.</li> <li>Assist customers with complex online banking issues, including security lockouts, multi-factor authentication concerns, and system navigation.</li> <li>Manage the preparation and receipt of cash shipments in accordance with bank policies and procedures.</li> <li>Begin training in Universal Banker I responsibilities as time permits. Teller III - 10.1.26</li> </ul><div>Qualifications<br><br> </div><ul> <li>High school diploma or GED required.</li> <li> <strong>3+ years of teller experience</strong>, with demonstrated proficiency in Teller II responsibilities.</li> <li>Previous leadership and mentoring experience within a branch environment.</li> <li>Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.</li> <li>Detail-oriented with the ability to identify discrepancies and help prevent fraud.</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and work scheduled shifts.</li> <li>Must be able to successfully complete a background check.
