This position is ideal for an experienced teller who is comfortable handling a high volume of transactions, assisting customers with more complex banking needs, and supporting the overall operations of the branch.<br><br> </div><div>The Teller II provides accurate and efficient transaction processing while delivering excellent customer service. This role also assists with vault responsibilities, supports and mentors other tellers, helps resolve customer issues, and identifies opportunities to connect customers with additional banking products and services.<br><br> </div><div> <strong>Key Responsibilities<br></strong><br> </div><ul> <li> Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently </li> <li> Balance cash drawer and assist with vault management </li> <li> Handle complex transactions and assist with resolving customer issues </li> <li> Support Teller I employees and assist with training new hires </li> <li> Assist with ATM balancing and maintaining appropriate currency levels </li> <li> Monitor transactions for potential suspicious or fraudulent activity </li> <li> Promote and refer customers to appropriate bank products and services </li> <li> Provide advanced support for online banking </li> <li> Answer customer calls professionally and provide timely assistance </li> <li> Assist with audits, cash shipments, and branch compliance requirements </li> </ul><div>These responsibilities reflect the core duties outlined in the Teller II job description. <br><br> </div><div> <strong>Qualifications<br></strong><br> </div><ul> <li> High school diploma or GED required </li> <li> <strong>2+ years of teller experience</strong>, or internal promotion with demonstrated mastery of Teller I responsibilities </li> <li> Successful completion of additional teller training </li> <li> Strong customer service and relationship-building skills </li> <li> Effective problem-solving and multitasking abilities </li> <li> Proficiency with core banking systems and Microsoft Office </li> <li> Strong verbal and written communication skills </li> <li> Ability to work independently and meet performance expectations </li> <li> Must be able to successfully pass a background check </li> </ul><div> <strong>Schedule</strong><br> Monday–Friday, with some Saturdays.
