<div>Our <strong>Teller I </strong>serves as the face of the bank, providing excellent customer service while performing routine banking transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing. This entry-level role is foundational to understanding the bank's operations and is designed for individuals looking to grow within the retail banking environment.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong>

<li>Process routine financial transactions accurately and efficiently.</li>
<li>Balance cash drawer daily and verify end-of-day totals.</li>
<li>Identify potential fraud or unusual account activity.</li>
<li>Refer customers to appropriate bank services and staff.</li>
<li>Assist with night depository duties and ATM errors.</li>
<li>Promote bank products and services when appropriate.</li>
<li>Follow all bank policies and procedures, including compliance requirements.</li>
<li>Complete training on phone procedures and call queue system; consistently log in, answer incoming calls professionally, directing or transfer callers to the appropriate department or team member.</li>
<li>Assist customers with basic online banking inquiries such as password resets, account navigation, and troubleshooting common login issues.</li>
<li>Greet customers promptly and professionally; provide excellent service.</li>
<li>Participate in branch opening/closing procedures and maintain branch security standards.</li>
</ul><div><strong>Qualifications / Requirements</strong></div><ul>
<li>High school diploma or GED</li>
<li>6 months of teller experience or 1 year of related customer service and cash handling experience.</li>
<li>Basic math and computer skills.</li>
<li>Effective communication and time management abilities.</li>
<li>Ability to work scheduled shifts and maintain punctual attendance.</li>
<li>Must be able to pass a background check.</li>
