Job Purpose
As a Teller, you will represent Emirates Islamic by delivering exceptional customer service and accurately managing a wide range of banking transactions. The role requires strong customer engagement, operational accuracy, compliance awareness, and the ability to identify opportunities that enhance the overall customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Process financial transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, remittances, cheque cashing, and loan payments.
Handle cash management activities, ensuring proper balancing of cash drawers and adherence to security procedures.
Open and service customer accounts in accordance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Deliver excellent customer service by responding to customer queries professionally and resolving issues in a timely manner.
Identify customer needs and create awareness of relevant banking products and services through quality referrals.
Maintain accurate records of transactions and customer requests while ensuring operational and audit compliance.
Support branch operations and contribute to achieving service quality standards and customer satisfaction objectives.
Collaborate effectively with branch colleagues and management to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Qualifications & Experience
UAE National with Family Book.
High School Diploma, Diploma, or Bachelor’s Degree.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Prior banking, cash-handling, retail, hospitality, or customer service experience is an advantage.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic numerical and computer proficiency.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and customer focus.
