Inside the Teleports and Ground Infrastructures Engineering Area, we are looking for and Electrical Infrastructures Engineer.
The selected candidate will be responsible for the following activities:
Design of Electrical and technological infrastructures for satellite communications ground station (Datacenter, Control Room, Internal layout buildings upgrade)
Supervision of the construction phases of infrastructures for facilities implementation
Design of Electrical plants for CED (equipment rooms) and ground station
Supervision of the HVAC plants installation phase
Development of technical-economic proposals for tenders
Main activities consist of the following:
Requirements analysis
Definition of the architecture and technical specifications of Infrastructures and related plant upgrade
Development of Electrical plant design
Development of technical notes, product technical specification and statement of work
Infrastructure project technical management
Technical management of the procurement
Technical management of the subcontractors
Progress supervision and control during works with respect to estimated times and costs
Management of the construction and installation, integration and testing activities
Degree and Seniority:
Degree in Electrical Engineering – 3-5 years of experience in similar role
Technical skills and IT tools:
Good knowledge of AUTOCAD
Knowledge of Thermal and air conditioning system principle and functionalities
Fluent written and spoken English
Preferred Qualification and Skills:
Fundamentals of Electrical power distribution systems
Experience in the use of AUTOCAD to draw layout of building and utilities plant diagrams
Experience in the development of project documentation (Technical Note, Product technical specification, Statement of work)
Experience in the application of safety norms (D.lgs. 81/08)
Soft skills:
Attitude to Technical Project Management, teamwork and passion for the space sector
Availability to travel, not limited to Telespazio Teleports but also including worldwide destinations for limited period of times, is required
Good attitude to technical documentation delivery
