Job Description

We’re hiring a motivated Telesales Team Lead to motivate, guide, and elevate our internal sales team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between strategy and execution. You will directly manage day-to-day agent performance while working closely with the Telesales Manager to design and deliver impactful coaching and training programs. If you have a passion for mentoring others and a track record of hitting targets, we want you to help us drive the next phase of our growth.

Key Responsibilities

Team Management & Performance

Daily Supervision: Monitor and track daily call volumes, and ensure agents are meeting their KPIs.

Performance Tracking: Conduct regular performance reviews, identify gaps in achievement, and implement corrective action plans where necessary.

Motivation & Culture: Foster a high-energy, positive, and competitive environment through incentives, daily huddles, and recognition.

Coaching & Development

Managerial Support: Partner with the Telesales Manager to identify team-wide training needs and help execute the overall sales strategy.

Side-by-Side Coaching: Conduct call monitoring, whisper-coaching, and role-play sessions to improve agents' objection handling, pitch delivery, and closing rates.

Onboarding: Help integrate new hires into the team, ensuring a seamless transition from initial training to live calling.

About you

Qualifications and Skills

  • 2+ years of experience in a senior, stepped-up, or team lead role within a CX or call centre environment.
  • Preferred: 2+ years of successful experience in a high-volume telesales environment
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding personal targets

Skills & Competencies

  • Leadership: Strong ability to inspire, motivate, and command respect from a diverse team.
  • Coaching Instinct: Exceptional listening skills with the ability to give constructive, actionable feedback.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency with CRM software and cloud-based dialler systems.
  • Communication: Stellar verbal and written communication skills
